Go Metric: We do now. Well, at least one. Up now on the Razorcake website is "Half Armadillo, Half Sherman Tank." It's about the epic battle between the forces of progressive rock and arena rock. It's from Mike's book The Hanging Gardens of Split Rock.
I'm doing a book tour of southern California in mid-February. I'll be joined by Todd Taylor (Razorcake), the Studds Terkel of punk rock and Matt Hart, the Sideshow Bob of punk rock. I've been labeled the Bob Newhart of punk rock. Good stories told well. Even if the Misfits reference doesn't work for you.

This past weekend the Geek & Rock Tour hit the road. Two bands (Black Wine, the Measure [SA]), two readers (Joe Evans III, me), lots of guests (the Safes, Lexington Arrows, Asteroid Blues, Grace). It was excellent. I might rise off my duff and give it a proper write up — if nothing else, my tourmates certainly deserve that and more — in the meantime I'll turn things over to Jim Testa at Jersey Beat:
